Healthy Behavior for Bariatric Patients is a combination educational and support sessions for bariatric patients as they experience their weight loss journey.
Topics include:
- The change process and commitment
- Behavior modification and dealing with “head” hunger
- Relationships
- Stress management
The sessions are led by Dr. Michael Dennis, bariatric psychologist, and are open to pre- and post-operative patients in the St. Luke’s Bariatric program. A maximum of 20 patients attend each four-class session.
