Clarence Blea, MD Clarence Blea, MD is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and maternal fetal medicine, and is completely fluent in Spanish. He earned his medical degree from Stanford University School of Medicine in 1986, and completed his internship and residency at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver. He practiced obstetrics and gynecology for three years in Nevada before completing a fellowship in maternal fetal medicine at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, in 1995.
Michael Koszalka Jr., MD Michael Koszalka Jr., MD is a 25-year Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Fellow of the Society for Maternal Fetal Medicine. He has been in practice with St. Luke’s Maternal Fetal Medicine since 2002. Dr. Koszalka earned bachelor's degrees in zoology and medicine from the University of North Dakota. He earned his medical degree from the University of Minnesota, where he also earned a master's degree in business administration. He completed his internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at St. Paul-Ramsey Medical Center in St. Paul, Minnesota, and performed his maternal fetal medicine fellowship at the University of Colorado in Denver.
Richard Lee, MD Richard Lee, MD is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and maternal fetal medicine, and is fluent in Spanish. He has been in practice with St. Luke’s Maternal Fetal Medicine since 2006. He earned his bachelor's degree in zoology from Brigham Young University in 1989 and his medical degree from the University of Southern California School of Medicine in Los Angeles in 1993. He completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City in 1999, and his maternal fetal medicine fellowship at the University of California, Irvine in 2002.
Stacy T. Seyb, MD Stacy T. Seyb, MD is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and maternal fetal medicine. He has been in practice with St. Luke’s Maternal Fetal Medicine since 2000. Dr. Seyb earned his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and completed his obstetrical residency at the University of Colorado in Denver. After teaching and practicing in the Denver area, he completed his maternal fetal medicine fellowship at Northwestern University in Chicago.

Our Genetic Counselors

Laura Defenbach, MS, Laura Defenbach, MS, earned her bachelor's degree in genetics and cell biology from Washington State University. She completed her master's degree in human genetics at Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, New York, and is a member of the National Society of Genetic Counselors. Laura joined St. Luke's Maternal Fetal Medicine in 2011.
Heather Hussey, MS, CGC Heather Hussey, MS, CGC is a board certified genetic counselor and full member of the National Society of Genetic Counselors. She joined St. Luke's Maternal Fetal Medicine in 2007, and is also in practice as a cancer genetic counselor with St. Luke's Mountain States Tumor Institute (MSTI). Heather earned her bachelor's degree in cell/molecular biology and chemistry from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and her master's degree in genetic counseling from the University of Utah.
Heidi Nagel, MS, CGC Heidi Nagel, MS, CGC is board certified in genetic counseling by the American Board of Genetic Counseling and is a member of the National Society of Genetic Counselors. She has been in practice with St. Luke’s Maternal Fetal Medicine since 2002. Heidi earned her bachelor's degree in biology from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington and her master's degree in medical genetics/genetic counseling from the University of Wisconsin in Madison.
