We are accepting new patients with a direct referral from your primary care physician or other treating physician.

After Hours Info
If you feel that you are having a cardiac emergency, please proceed to the nearest hospital or call 911. The Emergency Department physician will contact your cardiologist, if needed.

If you have a question or concern during office hours, call our office and our associates will assist you. If you have an urgent concern that needs immediate attention after office hours, please call (208) 814-8200 and a hospital operator will contact the on-call physician.

What is Cardiology?
Cardiology is the medical study of the heart, a branch of medicine dealing with the diagnosis and treatment of heart disorders and related conditions. Cardiologists are physicians who specialize in treating these disorders and conditions. Our physicians have advanced education and experience in this specialty; all are board certified cardiologists. Our board certified physician assistant (PA) has earned a Doctorate of Pharmacology degree. Together, the physicians, the PA, and our associate staff work as a team to provide you with high quality, comprehensive cardiac care.

Our Medical Providers

	Daniel C. Brown, MD, FACC, FACP, FAHA earned his medical degree from the University of California, Irvine and completed his internship and internal medicine residency at Los Angeles County/University of Southern California Medical Center. He performed his cardiology fellowship at Harbor General/University of California at Los Angeles Medical Center. Dr. Brown’s specialty interests include heart catheterizations, angioplasty, and intra-coronary stent placement.
	Dennis M. Enomoto, MD, FACC earned his medical degree from St. Louis University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri and completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Arizona in Tucson. He performed his cardiology fellowship at the University of Washington in Seattle, and is a Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology (CBNC) diplomate. Dr. Enomoto’s specialty interests include heart catheterizations, angioplasty, and intra-coronary stent placement.
	Reed J. Harris, DO, FACC earned his medical degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri and completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas and David Grant USAF Medical Center at Travis Air Force Base, California. He performed his cardiology fellowship at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center. Dr. Harris’s specialty interests include heart catheterizations and pacemaker and bi-ventricular pacemaker implantation.
	David L. Kemp, MD, FACC earned his medical degree from St. Louis University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri and completed his internship and residency at LDS Hospital/University of Utah in Salt Lake City. He performed his cardiology fellowship at St. Louis University. Dr. Kemp’s specialty interests include heart catheterizations, pacemaker implantation, rhythm management, and exercise cardiac physiology.
	Dennis Sawyer, PharmD, PA-C earned his physician assistant certification from Idaho State University in Pocatello and his Doctorate of Pharmacology degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center. His specialty interests include pacemaker interrogation and anticoagulation follow-up.

Your Appointment
We try to stay on time, as a courtesy to you and others. Since paperwork may take a few minutes, please arrive early. As emergencies do occur, there may be occasions when your appointment time will be delayed. We will always try to keep you informed in the event of a delay, and will be happy to reschedule your appointment, if you prefer. We ask that you respect the appointment time we have reserved for you, and call 24 hours ahead to cancel or change appointments so that others may be helped during that time.

Communication with your provider is extremely important. It may be helpful for you to write down questions for your doctor or nurse practitioner prior to your visit. Bring a list of medications and the dosages, or bring the bottles with you.

Make sure you understand any instructions you are given. If clarification is needed, review your instructions with the provider or medical assistant before you leave. If you aren’t doing well after your visit, we want to hear from you. Our goal is to improve your health.

Please bring the following to your appointment:

• A complete, up-to-date list of all current medications with dosage information or, if you prefer, bring your medication bottles. Please include all over-the-counter medications.
• Bring all pertinent insurance information and insurance cards, as well as a photo ID for identification purposes.
• At each visit inform the receptionist of any information changes that have occurred since your last visit.

Insurance Plans
We accept most insurance plans, including Medicare, in-state Medicaid, Tricare, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and others.

Medication Refills
Talk with your provider at each visit to be sure your prescriptions are up to date. For refills, contact your pharmacy. Your pharmacy will then contact our office for verification and approval. For patient safety, narcotics cannot be refilled outside of office hours. Talk with your provider before your prescription runs out, and please allow 48 hours for refills.
