What is Family Medicine?
Family Medicine doctors are trained to care for patients of all ages, from infancy through the end of life. We promote the concept of a Medical Home, emphasizing a continuous relationship with a personal physician coordinating care for both wellness and illness. We believe that knowing you over many years, and knowing your family, helps us understand how your health care impacts your life.
St. Luke’s Family Medicine physicians diagnose and treat most medical issues, from infections and sprains to diabetes and asthma. We also specialize in preventive care to help you create and maintain a healthy lifestyle. And when your condition requires a specialist, we can coordinate your care with other physicians and can help you navigate your way through today’s health care.

Brenda Adams, MD earned her bachelor's degree in biology from Carroll College in Helena, Montana and her medical degree from the University of Washington in Seattle. She completed her residency in Boise. Dr. Adams offers a full range of family care services, including women's and adolescent health care, and enjoys establishing long-term patient relationships.
Sam Battaglia, MD is board certified in family medicine. He earned his medical degree from Tulane Medical School in New Orleans. As a Lt. Commander in the U.S. Navy, he served in Guam; Jacksonville, Florida; and Oak Harbor, Washington. Dr. Battaglia enjoys pediatrics and establishing long-term patient relationships.
William Crump, MD earned his bachelor's degree from Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington and his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He completed his residency at St. Mark's Family Medicine in Salt Lake City. Dr. Crump's professional interests include pediatric and adolescent medicine, skin surgery, and vasectomy.
Eric Hall, DO earned his medical degree from the University of Health Sciences in Kansas City, Missouri and completed his residency at the Family Medicine Residency in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Dr. Hall's professional interests include pediatrics, acute care, and preventative medicine.
John Wick, MD earned his medical degree from Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland and completed his residency at the Family Medicine Residency of Idaho in Boise. He completed a sports medicine fellowship with Idaho Sports Medicine Institute and the Family Medicine Residency of Idaho, and now serves as fellowship director for this program. Dr. Wick works at Boise State University seeing recreational and student athletes, and serves as team physician for Capital High School and co-team physician for the Boise Hawks minor league baseball club. He holds a certificate of added qualifications in sports medicine, and has medical interests in pediatric and adolescent medicine, fracture care, and minor procedures.
Your Appointment
Patients are seen by appointment. Please notify us if you will be late; you may be asked to reschedule.
Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you will not be able to make your scheduled appointment. This will enable us to serve all patients in a timely manner.
We ask that you bring your insurance card with you to each visit and notify us of any changes in your address, phone number, or insurance information.
Communication with your provider is extremely important. It may be helpful for you to write down questions for your doctor prior to your visit. Bring a list of medications and the dosages, or bring the bottles with you.
Make sure you understand any instructions you are given. If clarification is needed, review your instructions with the provider or medical assistant before you leave. If you aren't doing well after your visit, we want to hear from you. Our goal is to improve your health.
Insurance Plans
We accept most insurance plans, including Medicare, in-state Medicaid, Tricare, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and others.
We ask that you bring your insurance card with you to each visit and notify us of any changes in your address, phone number, or insurance information.
Medication Refills
Talk with your provider at each visit to be sure your prescriptions are up to date. For refills, contact your pharmacy. Your pharmacy will then contact our office for verification and approval. For patient safety, narcotics cannot be refilled outside of office hours. Talk with your provider before your prescription runs out, and please allow 48 hours for refills.
