LABORATORY -Inpatient & Outpatient Services

The St. Luke's Magic Valley Medical Center Clinical Laboratory is committed to excellence in delivery of health care, with all areas of the department meeting the stringent accreditation standards of the College of American Pathologists. Laboratory services include:

• Chemistry
• Microbiology
• Hematology

Pathology Services

The Pathology Department consists of pathologists, cytotechnologists, histologic technicians, and various clinical assistants. Services include:

• Examination and diagnosis on tissue from surgical biopsy, Pap smears, bodily fluids, and fine needle aspirations of solid tumors

• Bone marrow aspirations and evaluation for the diagnosis of blood disorders

• Autopsy
