Legacy Society
St. Luke's Magic Valley Health Foundation

Honoring those who leave a Legacy for a healthier community.

St. Luke's Magic Valley Health Foundation's annual Legacy Society dinner was held April 10, 2008. The dinner recognized the generous businesses, organizations, and individuals who make up the Legacy Society. Each has provided accumulative gifts of at least $1,000 through St. Luke's Magic Valley Health Foundation.

This year's dinner was underwritten by Reynolds Funeral Chapel. Former Foundation donors were recognized along with 111 donors who recently entered a new donor category. All Legacy Society members are recognized in one of three areas of the  hospital: the  McKain-Kinney Remembrance Rose Garden, the Cancer Wall of Honor and the Legacy Society Wall of Honor.

Due to generous community support, the Foundation was able to award more than $390,000 in health related grants last year, supporting staff and community health education, medical equipment, and health related programs.

Overall, the Foundation has given more than $6.7 million in support of health care programs. Additionally, three new endowments were established by bequests and current donors.

Each Foundation donor is making a difference for our community. Support from compassionate donors is the reason the Foundation can assist in making the Magic Valley one of the healthiest places to live.
