Remembering Those Who Have Made a Difference in the Lives of Others

The Legacy Society Wall of Honor is located in the main corridor of the medical center. The
St. Luke's Magic Valley Health Foundation board established The Legacy Society in 1998 to recognize donors who have made a large gift or plan to bequeath a gift for Magic Valley's health care through the Foundation.

Gifts of $1,000 or more are recognized on wall plaques in special areas of the hospital including the Legacy Society Wall of Honor, the Cancer Wall of Honor, and the McKain-Kinney Remembrance Rose Garden. Members are also listed in each Foundation Annual Report and receive all Foundation publications and special program notifications.

Due to the generosity of Legacy Society donors, the Foundation has been able to purchase lifesaving medical equipment, provide scholarships to nursing students and hospital staff, support programs for children and seniors, and assist in developing cancer programs and the medical library, among other projects.

The Cancer Wall of Honor is located in the main corridor of St. Luke's Magic Valley Medical Center, adjacent to the St. Luke's Mountain States Tumor Institute (MSTI) waiting room. This is a visual expression of the love and caring of those who have been touched by cancer, either personally or through their loved ones.
