Visitation Guidelines

Visitation of patients is an extremely important aspect of St. Luke’s “Family Centered Care” philosophy. Visitation depends on the patient’s condition, the activity of the unit he or she is on, the prevention of infection and at the discretion of the health care team.

  • For safety reasons, and to protect the health of our patients, visitors, and staff, no smoking or other tobacco use is allowed within our facility or in it’s entrances.
  • Wireless devices such as cell phones must be turned off while in all patient care areas, as they can interfere with medical equipment.
  • Because many people suffer latex allergies, we ask that you do not bring latex balloons into the medical center. Mylar balloons are encouraged.
  • If you have cold or flu symptoms (coughing, sneezing, runny nose), please do not enter patient care areas. Sharing is good, but not when it comes to germs.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
